Location of The Stones Hotel, Legian Bali, Autograph Collection

The Stones Hotel is very well located if you want to be in the heart of the bustling city of Kuta. Within walking distance, you can reach the Kuta Beach, famous for its sunsets and lively parties.

The Beachwalk shopping center is only an 8-minute walk away. Wander its shopping streets if you want to shop and pamper yourself.

To access the hotel by car, you must pass a security barrier. We had already seen this type of security at the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa. For security purposes, the guards check the car. No verification for pedestrians, however.

The Stones Hotel, Legian Bali, Autograph Collection has an imposing and contemporary design. It was built with the idea of integrating a touch of traditional Balinese culture mixed with geometric shapes and volumes. The large reception hall is sheltered and open. It overlooks the outdoor pool.

We were spoiled on our arrival, the children were offered a nice ice cream, which delighted them!

Thanks to our Titanium status, we were upgraded to a Premium room, allowing us to have a small outdoor pool all to ourselves. The rooms are located in the L-shaped parts of the hotel. The decoration is neat, but the whole was sometimes lacking in brightness. We must pass in front of the pool to reach our room.

Bathroom

The bathroom is located directly at the entrance of the room. A thick curtain can give the room some privacy by separating it from the bedroom. There is no bathtub, but a shower. For a bath, you will have to go to the private pool.

Our room

The room is a good size for a family of four; however we had two single beds. This is one of the negative points for families: you only have the choice between a king bed or a single bed. For the children, it is not so much of a problem but for us adults, we were a bit cramped in our bed.

The room also lacks natural light, the curtain and vegetation hides the little light that comes in.

A welcome gift was waiting for us on the desk. The TV faces the beds above the narrow countertop desk. The décor is modern in keeping with the hotel’s contemporary style. A fridge is available.

Please note. The rooms on the upper levels had bathtubs on their terraces.

Services at The Stones Hotel, Legian Bali, Autograph Collection

The hotel offers a choice of activities and restaurants. You can go to the main restaurant, Stones Kitchen (which also serves lunch), the Big Fish Bar & Grill or have a drink at the pool bar.

In the evening, the latter welcomes a DJ for a very pleasant atmosphere. The theme changes every evening.

Breakfast

I love hotel breakfasts! There is nothing better to start a day and what I love more than anything, is discovering local flavors, traditional dishes. There were a lot of options. The international choice was more than varied to satisfy everyone.

The restaurant is located right next to the pool under the canopy.

Swim up Pool Bar

For a moment of relaxation with your feet in the water, the bar proposes very good cocktails.

Swimming pool

The pool is central and the facilities are therefore located around it. It is large and some areas are more suitable for children. A whirlpool bath is also available at the other end. Cabanas can be booked, and deckchairs are all around the pool.

Fitness room and Spa

The fitness room is large and airy with a very interesting choice of equipment.

A spa service is also available. If you feel like it, a little massage is sometimes offered by the pool too.

Jasper Kids Club

You can leave your children in the Kids Club from 8.00 AM to 6.00 PM with no worries. The staff was friendly, our children were happy to go there. If you want them to swim, you will have to take them to the pool yourself though.

During one of our nights there, we asked for the services of a babysitter with the concierge and were not disappointed.

The Stones Hotel, Legian Bali, Autograph Collection is an aesthetically pleasing hotel with a friendly spirit and lively atmosphere at night. We would have liked to enjoy the facilities more as we found them so pleasant.
