On an extended weekend, we flew to Las Vegas! Since we were traveling with our two children, we needed a hotel adapted for them: our choice was the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas.
Four Seasons Hotels are known for their high standards. We know that when you book a stay at any Four Seasons hotel on the planet, you’ll get the quality you deserve.
As far as the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is concerned, this one turned out to be particularly suitable for families as you will see later.
To book my stays at such hotels, I usually go through the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts program, which is only available to American Express Platinum cardholders.
When you book with your Platinum Card through American Express Travel and Fine Hotels & Resorts, you are assured of benefits such as
In addition, for some hotels, additional promotions may take place, such as free accommodation for the third or fourth night. To learn more about the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts program, check out this article!
No need to hold any hotel status that would have ensured you breakfast or late check-out. Here you will have access to a full range of benefits!
I have detailed the process of booking this room in this article. The rate was CA$286 per night, taxes included.
Not to mention the whole range of benefits that Fine Hotels & Resorts had to offer:
We were able to take advantage of all these benefits:
After grabbing a snack at the American Express Centurion Lounge at the Las Vegas Airport, just arriving from our flight from Montreal, which allowed our kids to stretch their legs a bit…

…we took an Uber to reach the Four Seasons Las Vegas hotel in less than 10 minutes.
This one is located on the south side of the Strip, and occupies the top floors of the Mandalay Bay complex.
The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas has a separate entrance from the Mandalay Bay. If you wish, you can avoid the “casino atmosphere” altogether, which is especially nice with small children.
The lobby is very pleasant and reveals the upscale character of the hotel.
At check-in, an envelope is given to us by the front desk, which is standard for reservations made through American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts. Inside, you will find the full range of benefits that come with our reservation.
So we go to our room. The corridor leading to the elevators allows us to pass in front of the spa. From this corridor, it is also possible to reach the interior of the Mandalay Bay and access the casino.
Our room is located on the 37th floor.
When we arrived in our room, we noticed that the baby bed was already installed for our youngest.
Obviously, the “wow” factor of the room… is the view (especially at night).
Alexandra and Arthur love to play in front of the windows:
The rest of the room:
And a trip to the bathroom, where a little surprise awaits our daughter:
Nice touch from the reception who had asked for our children’s names when I had asked for the accessories for the little ones.
Classic bathroom for Las Vegas with a bathtub and a separate shower (photo omission…). And separate toilets (here too, a little attention with a garbage can for the little one’s diapers).
And what could be better than excellent room service? Here is a little touch that is much appreciated:

The hotel’s strong point: its outdoor spaces. The hotel has its own pool (exclusively for Four Seasons residents)… but allows access to the entire Mandalay Bay AND Delano pool complex.
The pool of the Four Seasons is located at the bottom left of this picture:
Upon arrival at the pool, you will be assigned lounge chairs:
Here are the pool surrounds of the Four Seasons Las Vegas:
The cabanas:
The children particularly appreciate the large armchairs…
Sunscreen is available:
And of course there is a poolside restaurant-bar:
From the pool, you can access the Mandalay Bay’s aquatic complex:
And its famous wave pool:
In short, these are very pleasant places, especially in the morning when it is not too crowded.
And when the world arrives, it’s nice to get back to the quiet of the Four Seasons pool!
Breakfast could be taken in the hotel restaurant (Veranda).
Our Fine Hotels & Resorts “package” allowed us to spend 80 US$ per day. Children under 4 years old… eat for free😉
Here are different plates that we had chosen:
We were able to take advantage of a free limousine service during our stay!
Your driver can take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel (enough for any location on the strip or the airport).
Only one car is available – Mercedes-Benz S550 – so you may have to wait 10-15 minutes to enjoy it.
On our side, it was fast and we were able to reach the MGM Grand to see the Cirque du Soleil KA show in a few minutes.
What do you mean? Going to Las Vegas with your two young children?!
Yes, Las Vegas can be done without children having to step foot in a “smoke-filled casino” or wade into an “alcohol-filled pool.” The proof is in the Four Seasons Hotel, which was designed with parents in mind:
