When I stayed at the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, the rate was 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, while the cost of the room was close to CA$600 per night due to the many conventions in town (including the Dubai Airshow).
So I chose to use my Marriott Bonvoy points for this one-night stay.

The Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, enjoys a privileged location on Palm West Beach, at the start of Palm Jumeirah, offering direct access to the beach and panoramic views of the Persian Gulf. This hotel is located close to Dubai’s main attractions.
The hotel’s imposing architecture is reminiscent of the resort-style establishments in Florida or on certain Caribbean islands.
When you arrive at the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, you can either leave your car with the valet attendant (complimentary) or park in the car park. This is the option I chose: the entrance is easy and you can reach the reception directly with a dedicated elevator.
Bicycles are available for use on the long promenade between the hotel and the beach.
The hotel’s spacious and welcoming lobby area combines luxury with traditional touches evoking the rich local heritage.
A check-in desk is dedicated to families, with welcome gifts for children. We appreciate it!
As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member, the hotel informs me that I’ve been upgraded to a Palm Room with double beds and a sea view, with access to the M Club.
Unlike other Marriott hotels with M Club lounges, access is subject to a fee, even for Platinum and above members. To gain free access, you need to have booked an M Club room.
Knowing that I was staying at this hotel with a friend, the Palm Room with double beds was perfect for our needs. Our room was 1128.
The hotel has over 600 rooms, many of which face the sea and have private balconies.
The bathroom is modern, with separate bath and shower.
The centrepiece of this bedroom is the balcony with a sea view. It is very pleasant, especially as it’s rather quiet (unlike what we experienced at W Dubai Mina Seyahi).
The M Club at the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, is where you can enjoy a meal at different times of the day. It is located on the top floor of the building.
The M Club serves a culinary selection throughout the day, complemented by choice beverages.
An elegant setting is perfect for relaxing, working or holding meetings in a calm environment. Vast windows bathe the space in natural light, offering impressive views, while dedicated staff ensure impeccable, attentive service.
You’ll find plenty to eat and drink at any time. For example, here are the choices available at teatime:
In the evening, you can also dine on-site:
Breakfast is served as a buffet. And it is possible to order eggs of any kind you wish.
For your information, Elite Platinum, Titanium, or Ambassador elite status status members can enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the hotel’s ground-floor restaurant.
If you have received an invitation to the M Club (or paid for your access), you have the choice of taking it to the lounge. You can also get it with some paid rates through the hotel’s website on Marriott Bonvoy at this address.
The Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, features a large outdoor pool with a bar in the middle.
On either side of the pool, you’ll find various areas for sunbathing or relaxing.
Families staying at the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai will appreciate the children’s area, which has a shaded pool, Kids Club, and outdoor play areas.
The artificial beach at the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, features men’s and women’s changing rooms and individual lounger service. This beach is exclusive to hotel guests.
You can appreciate the gigantism of the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai in these photos.
The gym offers a wide range of quality equipment and is bright enough for your workouts. You can also train outdoors (heat permitting)!
Opposite reception is the Cucina restaurant. Here you can enjoy breakfast and other meals throughout the day. I didn’t get a chance to try it out, but I found the space to be very pleasant, with plenty of “home-made” preparations (pasta, ice cream, etc.) and even a mini-farm inside to grow the vegetables that will be served to customers.
