AIR MILES sent an email to its members yesterday announcing a change in their status.
To earn AIR MILES status, simply collect miles during the calendar year. Depending on the level achieved, members receive benefits.
Here is the”Before“:
From now on, you will need to obtain:
Between 500 – 4,999
(-500)
5 000 and more
(-1 000)
Therefore, AIR MILES members will only need 500 accumulated miles during the year to achieve Gold status, instead of 1,000 miles. Then, at least 5,000 miles for Onyx status, instead of 6,000 miles.
