The features of these two credit cards are identical to the regular versions. On the other hand, the approval system is based specifically on the limited income of students.

An AIR MILES credit card for students

BMO® AIR MILES®† Mastercard®* for students is a card:

  • has no annual fee
  • giving you up to 800 AIR MILES as a welcome bonus
  • earn 1 mile for every $25 in purchases and 3 miles for every $25 in purchases at AIR MILES Partners

You can decide to get either DREAM miles (for travel, products…), or CASH miles (for in store discounts).

A cash back credit card for students

BMO® CashBack® Mastercard®* for students is a card:

  • with no annual fees
  • offering 5% cash back for the first 3 months (up to $100 in cash back)
  • has a 3% discount rate on groceries
  • has a 1% discount rate on recurring bill payments (such as cell phone, subscription or streaming service payments)
  • earn 0.5% cash back on all purchases

You can redeem your cash back whenever you want (once you’ve reached $50 worth of cash back)!
