Direct flight packages will return from Quebec City (YQB) and Saguenay – Bagotville (YBG) to Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
Then, new packages from Montreal to the new Cuban destination of Cienfuegos will be offered. There will be an increase in flights and capacity compared with 2022 to Cayo Largo and Montego Bay.
In addition, Sunwing is expanding vacation options to destinations on Mexico’s Pacific coast, including Los Cabos, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta and Puerto Plata.
If you can, book your trips early! Affordable last-minute deals to the South aren’t what they used to be.

With strong demand for travel to the Sun destinations, Sunwing continues to grow and increase its flights at its 3 main airports. Sunwing is actively hiring seasonal pilots and cabin crew across Quebec to prepare for the upcoming winter season.
Last June, WestJet’s purchase of Sunwing was confirmed. For now, it’s business as usual with Sunwing, as its integration with WestJet will take about two years.
The Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region is an excellent market for Sunwing, which is why direct winter flights are repeated year after year. What’s more, passengers departing from Bagotville will be able to take advantage of the brand-new airport, which has been renovated and is nearing completion. The only thing missing is a customs office!
