With the end of the mandatory quarantine for vaccinated Canadians, it is expected that travel will gradually resume.

As the summer season begins, Air Canada premiered its new safety video yesterday, Ode to Canada, that celebrates all regions of Canada. You’ll fly over spectacular and iconic landscapes across Canada while listening to safety instructions.

Air Canada’s new Ode to Canada safety video is a celebration of the best of Canada from coast-to-coast-to-coast. Including our own uniformed employees who are responsible for the safety of every Air Canada flight, our new video presents all aircraft safety instructions in a compelling, associative way by drawing on some of our country’s most spectacular scenery and visually connecting viewers to each province and territory through all four seasons.

Air Canada has decided to renew its video to give Canada a prominent place and convey the message that the entire crew is ready to welcome fellow Canadians returning home and foreigners visiting the country.

We are inviting all of our customers to join us in exploring everything that Canada has to offer in support of the country’s tourism and hospitality sectors.

M. Andrew Shibata, Vice-Président – Marques, d’Air Canada.

The 5:45 video covers the 10 provinces and 3 federal territories that make up Canada:

  • Newfoundland & Labrador’s Gros Morne National Park
  • Manitoba’s Little Limestone Lake
  • Yukon’s winter
  • Ontario’s social hospitality
  • Northwest Territories’ Northern Lights
  • Nunavut’s vast expanse
  • Prince Edward Island’s Cavendish Beach
  • Alberta’s foothills
  • BC’s North Shore mountains
  • Saskatchewan’s wheat fields
  • Quebec’s art and culture experiences
  • Nova Scotia’s Lunenburg
  • New Brunswick’s Hopewell Cape

This video is original and shows us beautiful images of Canada, as Air France did recently with its new safety video.
