Air Canada takes a new step in its international expansion with the announcement of a new route between Montreal and Palma de Mallorca, which will be inaugurated on June 17, 2026.
This new service marks the debut of the highly anticipated Airbus A321XLR in the national carrier’s fleet.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
From June 17, 2026 to October 23, 2026
A925: Palma de Mallorca (PMI) 12:15 PM – Montreal (YUL) 3:10 PM

In addition, the A321XLR aircraft will also operate two existing routes from Montreal:
Air Canada plans to receive up to 30 A321XLR aircraft, with the first 10 to be delivered in 2026. The carrier plans to add new destinations from Toronto, Ottawa, and Halifax with these aircraft.

Palma de Mallorca, a popular destination known for its stunning Mediterranean beaches, was not previously served directly from Canada by a Canadian carrier.
