The A321XLR represents a major advancement for Air Canada. This next-generation narrow-body aircraft is distinguished by:

  • A 182-seat configuration
  • 14 Signature Class seats with fully lie-flat pods
  • 168 Economy Class seats
  • A range comparable to wide-body aircraft

Additionally, the A321XLR will also serve two existing routes departing from Montreal:

Air Canada expects to receive up to 30 A321XLR aircraft, with the first 10 to be delivered in 2026. The carrier plans to add new destinations from Toronto, Ottawa, and Halifax using these aircraft.
