Air Canada: new offer of complimentary snacks and beverages on board

To the point Air Canada now offers its customers complimentary alcoholic beverages and snacks on board.

The airline is offering a selection of beers and wines, as well as $5 spirits, free of charge to economy-class passengers on flights within Canada and to the United States until the end of the year.

Complimentary sweet and savoury snacks are also available in economy class on all flights. Canadian brands are also featured in this new offer, says Air Canada.

On board, you can discover :

  • Herb and garlic pretzels with butter, made in Alberta by TWIGZ ;
  • Célébration cookies from Quebec-based Leclerc, made with real milk chocolate and butter;
  • Craft beers, such as Hop Valley or Creemore Springs Premium Lager;
  • Paul Mas’s French wines, a full-bodied red and a dry white;
  • Last but not least, cocktails include Baileys l’Originale Irish cream, Canadian Club Rye whisky, Bacardi Superior rum, Bombay Sapphire gin, Tromba Blanco tequila and Campari.

Air Canada - Redesigning the culinary experience

This offer “builds on our recent industry-leading food and beverage upgrade to make travel better for all customers”, says Scott O’Leary, Vice President, Loyalty & Product at Air Canada.

Passengers have the opportunity to discover a hundred new seasonal recipes, as well as new snacks and beverages.

Air Canada points out that it is the only North American airline to offer the purchase of hot meals for children as part of its Bistro program on North American flights.
