To the point Air Canada now offers its customers complimentary alcoholic beverages and snacks on board.

The airline offers economy class passengers, on all its flights, including those to Mexico and the Caribbean, a complimentary selection of beers and wines, as well as spirits.

Complimentary sweet and savoury snacks are also available in economy class on all flights. Canadian brands are also featured in this new offer, according to Air Canada.

On board, you can discover:

  • Morning flights (before 10 AM): In addition to the popular TWIGZ artisanal pretzels and Leclerc Celebration cookies, much loved by Canadians, a new snack is being introduced: MadeGood Mornings soft-baked oat bars in cinnamon bun flavour, offered complimentary on board;
  • Flights departing from Toronto-Billy Bishop (after 10:30 AM): Passengers can enjoy, free of charge, the Ginger Defence wellness drink from the Canadian brand Greenhouse, known for its organic plant-based products. It is also available in snack baskets and on the Air Canada Bistro menu;
  • Expanded Air Canada Bistro Menu: The offering is enhanced with several local products, including the Summer Fresh snack (hummus and crackers), Quaker maple and brown sugar oatmeal cups, the new sour cream and onion flavour of TWIGZ pretzels, and the ever-popular Smarties;
  • New Refreshing Beverage: Air Canada becomes the first North American airline to offer Heineken 0.0 on board, an alcohol-free beer that complements its assortment of complimentary beers and wines served across its network.

These upgrades offer something for everyone and proudly showcase Canadian brands so that our customers can sit back, relax and kick-start their travels no matter where they’re going.” said Scott O’Leary, Vice President – Loyalty and Products at Air Canada.

These new features, introduced on September 1, demonstrate the airline’s commitment to delivering a renowned experience for all its customers and paying special attention to leisure travellers, as recognized by Skytrax awards.

Air Canada highlights that it is the only North American airline to serve alcohol-free beer, now offered complimentary on all flights.
