After the excitement of our meeting with milesopedia readers on June 02, 2018 and the various 5@7 organized during the year such as the one at Ulysses, we decided to organize a milesopedia mini-congress (MCM) on October 27, 2018 in Montreal. Details.

October 27, 2018: milesopedia mini-conference

The members of the facebook group “Travel for free (or almost…!) with your points & miles – milesopedia” have known it in preview a few days ago… and almost 75% of the available tickets have already been sold!

Why the milesopedia mini-conference?

There is Aeroplan’s “mini-tour of the world” (MTM), now there is also the “milesopedia mini-convention” (MCM).

This event is designed to:

  • familiarize yourself with points & miles
  • exchange with other members of the community on tips & tricks!

We try to adapt the presentations for all levels from beginner to advanced, and have chosen an “aerial” theme for the occasion.

Estimated level milesopedia level
What is a point? Economy class low cost
(additional fees for: food on board, choice of seat, use of toilets, light above the seat, life jacket… Please: save me!)
Beginner Economy
(I know that loyalty programs exist, I have used my points a few times and I am looking to improve)
Intermediate Economy class privilege
(I am registered in several programs that I use regularly: I want to go further)
Advanced Business class
(I travel regularly with points and miles and know the main techniques to accumulate them and use them optimally. But I’m still learning new things at enthusiast meetings).
Expert First Class
(MPM, CPM, MTM, MCM, Soft/Hard Products have no secrets for me. I travel for the pleasure of flying: I come to network with addicts like me)
