Air Canada has announced the re-launch of its non-stop international service between Ottawa (YOW) and London-Heathrow (LHR), scheduled for spring 2025. The first flight will take place on March 31, 2025, and the last on October 25, 2025.
Air Canada will operate this route four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The schedule is as follows:
The aircraft used will be a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with Air Canada’s three cabins: Economy, Premium Economy and Business (Signature Class).
In the future, Air Canada intends to offer the Ottawa-London route year-round with new aircraft:
We are looking forward to the future delivery of Air Canada’s new Airbus A321XLR fleet. The economics, optimum cabin size and range of the XLR which is expected to begin arriving in late 2025, will enable us to consider operating this important international route with greater frequencies and potentially with year-round service.
