Last flight of my trip to Asia with an award ticket in business class with Aeroplan.
We arrive in Beijing and the transfer will be very easy: we use the customs post reserved for transfers to international flights. In 20 minutes we made this passage as well as the security one. We go then to the lounge Business class for a fast passage, our flight taking off in hardly one hour.
The menu is then distributed:
It’s time to leave, with a pass in front of a Boeing 747-8 :
And we fly towards the north, a very polar road to join Canada.
Small passage to the toilets before eating, they are clean and they will remain it throughout the flight.
It’s time for dinner. So much during our two flights on Turkish the service lasted of the plagues, here it is quite the opposite, we go in the efficiency. I prefer it even if some may find it a bit abrupt. The dedicated flight attendant on our side was also very good in her service. The quality of the food was poor.
I take a look at the remaining route, it’s time for a nap.
The comforter provided is very comfortable, I was able to sleep a good 6-7 hours on this 12 hour flight.
The buffet, which is located between Business and First class, is also pleasant, without competing with the bars found on other airlines, it offers a quiet corner without disturbing the crew.
The second meal is then served. Same story: efficient service, average quality.
One approaches then Montreal.
The crew says goodbye.
We are well arrived 🙂
First long-haul flight with Air China. It is no longer possible to book award tickets with Aeroplan miles on this airline, which is a pity because it charges few taxes. I had read some bad reviews about Air China, in the end my two flights were a pretty good experience.
