During my stay at the Sheraton Nice Airport, the rate was $186 or 40,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. A very reasonable cash rate, so I preferred to pay for my stay rather than use points.
This hotel targets mainly business people. Due to its proximity to the tramway, it is also very interesting for all travelers who want to be close to the city’s entertainment and gastronomic offer, wishing to enjoy a luxurious setting.

The Sheraton Nice Airport Hotel is ideally located on the Promenade des Anglais, in front of Terminal 1 of Nice Airport in the Arenas district. You can walk to the airport in less than 2 minutes. If you need to go to Terminal 2, you will have to take the streetcar between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
The Sheraton Nice Airport Hotel is served by the tramway line 2, allowing you to quickly get to the city center or even to the Port of Nice. And then, as an AvGeek, what could be better than having a view of the airport tarmac from the hotel’s roof terrace.
Finally, the Nice Saint Augustin train station is a 5-minute walk away, which will welcome a TGV line in the coming years. The closest bus stops are the one on the Aeroport/Promenade and Grand Arenas. The hotel is therefore very well served by transport. Bicycles can be rented.
There is also a reserved parking lot for customers at a cost of 30 euros per day, otherwise you can park in the public lot for 2.90 euros per hour or 24.70 euros per day.
Having to catch an 8am flight from Terminal 1 (International), I decided to stay at the Sheraton Nice Airport to avoid the morning traffic. I checked in via the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app and was notified of a Junior Suite upgrade.
I’ll get my room card quickly and the receptionist informed me that breakfast – offered with my Marriott Bonvoy status – is served starting at 6:30 a.m. I would have just enough time to take it before going to the airport.
The hotel opened a few months earlier and everything is naturally brand new. Externally, it is impossible to miss. Its design is elegant, its architecture is impressive. Inwardly, what clarity! The white color dominates and the glass panels let in a lot of natural light.
The hotel is laid out over 6 floors and offers 222 rooms, including 12 suites, and 9 meeting rooms with pleasant coworking spaces. I will have suite 516 which gives access to the club lounge. You will have the choice between a room:
Sheraton Nice Airport Hotel details
The Junior Suite is a nice size (35 m2). At the entrance is a seating area with a chair and a round marble table. A wall socket allows you to plug in.
As a welcome gift, I would find two appetizers, a bottle of water and a message.
On the right side of the entrance, a large closet containing a small ironing board and a safe; then, a bar area with a coffee machine, mini-refrigerator and all the necessary.
The shades are light and soft with an accent color of blue. The Junior Suite offers a comfortable king bed and a sofa at the foot of the bed with another small table and two seats. These are three different spaces to rest.
The couch is also convenient if you want to watch the 55″ flat screen HD television.
Finally, the bathroom is bright with its mirror with integrated lighting. It has an industrial style with a black and white design. The tile floor is an imitation wood and matches the floor of the room.
The care products offered are from the Gilchrist & Soames line.
The main restaurant La Table des Suds is beautiful, with its hues reminiscent of the Mediterranean Sea and its luxurious contemporary and modern decor. It is open for all three services. I would have breakfast there before heading to the airport.
It has the advantage of offering an outdoor terrace overlooking a small garden. We are thus isolated from the noise of the traffic of the Promenade des Anglais.
The offer for the breakfast service was complete between breads, fresh pastries, cold cuts, salmon, cheeses, dairy products, cereals, salads, hot dishes and fruits.
The pool is located on the roof terrace of the hotel and offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Baie des Anges and the Nice Côte d’Azur airport, much to my delight. This hotel may become my new hub for drinks and plane watching!
You can relax on Balinese beds, sofas at the end of the terrace, sunbeds facing the airport runways, and enjoy cocktails and light meals by the pool. The weather was a bit gloomy when we passed by and the temperatures a bit cool, but we have no doubt that the place is popular in summer.
At the top of the circular tower there is an equally pleasant terrace bar where you can enjoy evenings with a DJ, She’s Nice Sky Bar.
You will have a great view of the Bay if you find a table at the windows.
The Club Lounge is open Sunday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and offers free food at various times of the day.
The hotel offers modern cadio-training equipment, weights for training. The room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is the only place where there is no outside light.
In addition to the nine meeting rooms, which can accommodate events and weddings, the Sheraton Nice offers an open work room and several closed blocks for video conferencing calls.
The hotel is close to all major roads and well-served by all public transport. Using them to access the different places of interest will be necessary.
Nearby, you’ll find the pretty, family-friendly Parc Phoenix, the Cap 3000 shopping center, the Palais Nikaïa for shows and the Allianz Arena stadium if you want to catch a soccer or rugby match, for example.
The Sheraton Nice Airport is excellent if you want to combine work and pleasure while staying close to the airport. You can easily access the city’s entertainment and relax in this luxurious and modern hotel.
