We chose the Element Miami International Airport Hotel for its location near the airport and its price. Here are all the details.
Specifically, the Element Miami International Airport Hotel is 5 minutes away from the Miami Airport (MIA) and the car rental center (where we rented from Hertz). Nearby are a few shops and restaurants and even a golf course. But you will have to take the car.
The Element Miami International Airport Hotel is available from $196 USD per night or 16,000 points per night.

The Element Miami International Airport Hotel has 4 room categories:
We took a studio.
Once parked, we entered an airlock before being greeted courteously by two staff at the reception counter. We were told parking was $20/day. Not knowing the area, we chose to pay the fee. The check-in to our room was quick.
The main room on the first floor is large, airy and modern; the spaces are comfortable and give way to the outside. There is also the dining room in front of the reception.
At the back of the common room, behind a parapet and close to the elevators, there is a large office designated as a business center.
We got a studio perfectly suited to families with its long kitchen and two queen size beds. The bedroom side of the kitchen is separated by the office. The layout makes the space narrow in terms of circulation. But overall, it’s pretty good.
There is also a sofa bed, but I’m not sure how we could have opened it without taking up too much space.
The bathroom was perfect with a shower and a sink. Large washing containers were available in the shower.
Breakfast is included in the room rate, which is a plus. It’s pretty basic though. Breakfast sandwiches, scrambled eggs, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and apples were offered, along with juice and coffee.
Outside, there is a terrace with tables and seats as well as a swimming pool. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy it as it was raining.
There is also a gym with a good selection of weights and cardio equipment.
Element Miami International Airport Hotel offers guests a small shop for essentials as well as bike rentals.
Last but not least, there is a charging station for electric vehicles.
If you have drinks at your hotel’s bars and restaurants, don’t forget to charge these expenses to your room bill, earning up to 17.5 points per dollar based on your Marriott Bonvoy status!
When you check out, pay with your Marriott Bonvoy® Amex®* card to earn 5 points per dollar!
All in all, the Element Miami International Airport Hotel is comfortable and suitable for families and travellers. What’s more, the cost of the room is affordable.
