The AC Paris Porte Maillot hotel is located 25 minutes from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, near the ring road in the Monceau district and the Neuilly-Porte Maillot metro station.
The Paris Convention Center is just a few minutes away on foot, and for the kids, nothing is better than going to the Jardin d’Acclimatation – just a15 minute walk.
Several restaurants are in the area, cinemas, theatres, and many other attractions.
When I arrived at the hotel AC Paris Porte Maillot, the receptionist informed me that my reservation had been upgraded to a suite.
The lobby is lovely, with a seating area and the hotel’s restaurant and bar further in.
My room, a suite type, is larger than Parisian standards. I have a corner for the office and sofa.
The bedroom and living room areas are separated by curtains, which gives a sense of space as opposed to partitions/doors. You will note that two televisions are between the bedroom and the living room.
There is a Nespresso coffee machine, a refrigerator, and an ironing board.
Here is the view from my room. Although overlooking the roofs of Paris – and the ring road – the noise insulation is excellent.
The bathroom is accessible from the bedroom side. It is composed of a shower AND a bathtub which are separated. Again, this exceeds the standards of most Parisian hotels.
Common in France: the toilet is separate from the bathroom and is located at the entrance of the suite.
Several services are offered by the hotel:
Normally, with the AC Hotel brand, holders of Platinum status or higher do not have access to a complimentary breakfast. However, the hotel is an exception to this rule.
As I have noticed in other AC Hotels, the breakfast is of good quality. I recommend it!
For gym lovers, here is the small room available on the 6th floor which also has nice lighting:
Hotel AC Paris Porte Maillot is a good economical and comfortable choice to stay in Paris. It is not at the heart of the action, but it is a quality stay. Best of all, it’s accessible with Marriott Bonvoy points!
