Who created CroisiEurope?

CroisiEurope, a travel agency specializing in sea and river cruises, was founded in 1976 by Gérard Schmitter. Formerly Alsace Croisières, this French company was founded near Strasbourg. Some twenty years later, in 1997, the company asserted its new European dimension by changing its trade name to CroisiEurope, as it is known today. In 1999, the founder left the helm of the company to his four children.
