Marriott has now doubled its portfolio of all-inclusive properties by partnering with the Sunwing Group.
By mid-2021, 19 franchised locations representing nearly 7,000 rooms in 6 destinations will join the Marriott Autograph Collection brand. The goal is to increase the number of properties to 33 by 2025.

Theoretically, it will be possible to earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points for stays in one of these all-inclusive hotels. This is already the case in the few all-inclusive hotels that are part of Marriott Bonvoy.
However, we will have to wait a while to find out more about:
Also, due to the partnership with Sunwing, could we imagine the possibility of booking a flight + hotel package with Marriott Bonvoy points? Anything is possible.
This is an interesting move by Marriott, which is seeking to diversify its portfolio of activities (after the rental of apartments and houses via Marriott Homes and Villas).
There will certainly be an audience for this, especially among Canadians who love all-inclusive travel!
