In October 2023, American Express announced its partnership for Formula 1 races in America, i.e. those taking place in Austin, Mexico City, São Paulo, Las Vegas, Miami, and Montreal. As of October 23, 2024, this partnership has now been extended to the entire F1 calendar, including races in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
American Express will also support the F1 Academy, the racing series dedicated to women, aimed at increasing opportunities for women in the world of motorsport.

For example, at the next Grand Prix from October 25 to 27 in Mexico City, fans will be able to enjoy the Amex Fan Experience area, with games and souvenirs available on site. At the Las Vegas Grand Prix, a lounge in the East Harmon Zone will be added, and will also be available by reservation for Card Members and a guest.
This type of partnership is a must for F1 fans who take part in Grand Prix events around the world. All the more reason for racing fans to get an American Express card!
The expansion of this partnership adds to American Express’ sponsorship portfolio, which is already well established in other sectors such as basketball, tennis (the US Open comes to mind), golf, music, entertainment (the Front Of The Line program comes to mind) and much more.
In 2024 and 2025, Grand Prix events will be held in every corner of the globe. Here’s where and when the next races will be held, and where it will be possible to obtain benefits and experiences exclusive to American Express cardholders (identified in bold):
From September 9 to 14, 2024, American Express cardholders were entitled to a selection of pre-sale tickets for the 2025 Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Several types of tickets and packages were offered, including the luxurious VIP Paddock Club formula. To access the pre-sale, you must be an American Express credit cardholder and use it to pay for your tickets. In addition, you must create an F1 Experiences account to receive electronic tickets.
Packages are no longer on sale, but stay tuned for the next few years!
This extended partnership is excellent news for F1 fans; remember that in 2024, the holders of the American Express Platinum Card® and Business Platinum Card® from American Express holders had free access (with one guest) to the Amex House on Crescent Street. This gives us great hope that we’ll be seeing similar experiences again in 2025.
