Today, Canadian airline WestJet announces the addition of Seoul-Incheon (ICN) to its destinations from Calgary International Airport (YYC). This is the second Asian destination served by WestJet, after Tokyo-Narita (NRT). With these flights, the company aims to make Calgary its hub between Canada and Asia.

To celebrate this new route to Asia, WestJet is launching a contest to win a round-trip flight for two to Seoul from any WestJet destination in Canada.
The contest runs from December 14, 2023 to January 4, 2024. Full contest rules and regulations can be found here.
Unfortunately, this contest is not open to Quebec residents.
This new non-stop flight will start on May 17, 2024, and will be operated throughout the summer at a frequency of three flights a week. The aircraft used will be the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Tickets will be available for booking in early 2024, subject to regulatory approvals. Here are the schedule details:
