After a great flight aboard an Emirates A380 in business class from Dubai, I am here in Singapore. On previous visits to the city-state, I stayed at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel and The Vagabond Club, Singapore, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel.
Today, I’m trying The Westin Singapore. This article is part of that journey:
Staying in Singapore is expensive. Fortunately, some of the city’s hotels remain accessible thanks to Reward Points. This is the case of The Westin Singapore.

The Westin Singapore is located in Singapore’s financial district, Marina Bay, offering breathtaking views of the city and the sea. The hotel is close to many attractions, including Gardens by the Bay and the famous Marina Bay Sands.
Across from the hotel is the Shenton Way subway station.
The lobby of The Westin Singapore is on the 32nd floor.
The lobby features a piano bar and plenty of comfortable seating. This space is called “The Lobby Lounge” and offers a renowned Seafood Afternoon Tea.
Rooms at The Westin Singapore occupy floors 32 to 46 of the tower. Because of my Titanium status, I was upgraded to a Larger Guest Room on the Club level on the 45th floor.
There’s a desk area, an armchair and a Nespresso coffee machine. The whole is cozy, and I appreciate the many indirect lights in the evening.
As a welcome gift, I find an assortment of white and dark chocolate on the desk.
The highlight of this room is the bathroom. All in length, with a double washbasin, this room ends on a bathtub offering a view of the outside. If you prefer, there is also a shower integrated into this space.
Breakfast is served in the hotel’s own restaurant: Seasonal Tastes. Having stayed at the hotel during Chinese New Year, it was particularly busy!
The buffet on offer is particularly extensive, and will appeal in particular to lovers of Asian and Indian flavors. You’ll also find a wide range of pastries and continental choices.
If you have access to the hotel’s Club Lounge, you’ll also find a breakfast buffet (much more basic, of course, but much less busy).

The Westin Singapore‘s outdoor infinity pool is very nice, with plenty of loungers on offer. From this space, you can enjoy beautiful views of the city.
There’s also a large terrace adjoining the hotel’s Club Lounge, with several trees making the space rather pleasant despite the urban ambience.
The gym is equipped with many modern machines. I love that the room is bathed in natural light and has beautiful views of the Singapore harbour.
You can also access a Heavenly by Westin Spa.
With Marriott Bonvoy Elite status (Platinum and above) or by booking a Club level room, you can access the hotel’s Club Lounge.
The Club Lounge at The Westin Singapore overlooks the pool deck. You can choose to set up indoors or outdoors.
The cozy space is pleasant, and the Wi-Fi access is particularly fast. In the morning, you can have your breakfast here:
Thanks to the subway (Shenton Way station), you’re just one station from Marina Bay and 2 stations from Gardens by the Bay.
You can also explore Singapore on foot. Chinatown is just a few minutes’ walk away, and I recommend you try the Lau Pa Sat night food court behind the hotel.
The Westin Singapore is an excellent choice for visiting Singapore. From here, you can quickly get around Singapore on foot, by bike or by subway.
