Activities in Montreal - Learn about astronomy

1 – See the eclipse of the century

Impressive. It was an event not to be missed on April 8: the moon passed in front of the sun, creating a total eclipse of the sun, at 3:26 p.m. in Montreal.

I hope you enjoyed it: the next total eclipse will be visible in Quebec on July 17, 2205, according to the Société d’astronomie du Planétarium de Montréal.

Wanda Koop will be unveiling new works featuring the moon. This event “invites us to reflect on our relationship with history, memory and the torments of our times”, according to the museum.

This book, which takes readers on a journey from Hochelaga to Villeray, via Rosemont and Le Plateau, also features contributions from Michel Tremblay, Pierre Huet and Michel Rivard.
