This is like a “come-back” for me since I had already come to the Hilton Quebec for several conventions.
A post from Marie-Pascale on the Milesopedia Facebook group on the “See & Eat” package at Hilton Québec which has just reopened after a 1-year renovation project, we decided to take a trip to Quebec City for a 3-day weekend of sunshine.

We used to book a room in our own name and contact the hotel to request that the rooms be adjacent to each other to enjoy:

Note: To qualify for the status benefits, it is important that the booking is made directly with the Hilton website and not with a third party (Expedia, Booking, etc.).
However, if you are a CAA member or have a corporate rate, you can get an additional discount by entering the code when booking.
To contact the hotel, I use the messaging system on the hotel’s Facebook site when it’s not possible to do so through the mobile app.
I usually ask that our two rooms be adjacent to each other and if it is possible to have an upgrade for at least one of them since we both have Gold status.
About an hour and a half after my message, I was given the Director’s contact information so that he could arrange this for us. The hotel is under renovation, it doesn’t have enough suites, but the manager upgrades us to a Suite with a connecting room.
Located in the St-Jean-Baptiste district, close to all amenities in the center, the Hilton Quebec is a 20-minute drive from the Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB).
It is ideally located between Old Quebec, the Plains of Abraham and the Château Frontenac.
The hotel is located across from Parliament, a 5-minute walk from Place d’Youville.
We leave Montreal in the early afternoon so as not to arrive too late at the hotel.
The check-in is done quickly, our rooms are ready, the staff is welcoming and efficient.
We each received a bag containing our welcome gifts to mark our Hilton status.
We got a suite consisting of a lounge and a bedroom as well as an additional connecting bedroom.
Our rooms are newly renovated and are located on the 23rd and top floor of the hotel.
The kitchen is a closed room with a coffee machine, a refrigerator and a sink.
There are no microwaves in the rooms, but it is possible to ask the reception to have one installed.
Interestingly, the kitchen has its own door to the outside.
The space includes a king bed and a desk.
The bathroom is spacious with a large glass shower.
It is comfortable and smaller than the Suite, but decorated in the same spirit.
The windows in the bedrooms and living room allow you to enjoy the view of Quebec City. Day or night, the view of the river and the Château Frontenac is breathtaking.

Even though the hotel’s restaurants were closed, we took advantage of our stay to order the three-course “See and Eat” menu that is delivered to the room.
I personally loved the grilled octopus and the maple dessert, it’s a great addition to this stay and a way to enjoy both the view and the food.
The hotel has a take-out counter on the ground floor where we can pick up our breakfast, which is free with our Hilton Gold statuses (two per room).
With the choice offered, it is a nice surprise in times of pandemic.
The Hilton Quebec is a beautiful rediscovery for me. I find that the renovations have given a second wind to the hotel and highlighted its qualities and its exceptional location.
