Hyatt hotels offer online check-in through their app, which speeds up the process significantly. We spent just a few minutes at the front desk. The reception area is small but functional, featuring a minimalist check-in counter.
The administrative space has been optimized, creating more room around the reception area for the Feast + Revel restaurant on one side and a lounge area on the other. The décor is sleek and highlights the hotel’s modern and contemporary style.
Our room, on the 10th floor, occupied a corner of the hotel, which greatly enhanced the view. The view from our room, overlooking Parliament, is one of the hotel’s highlights.
Every morning, I took a moment to enjoy the view, which made waking up even more pleasant. Another noteworthy detail, which is quite rare in modern hotels, is the ability to open the windows. This allows you to let in fresh air and take full advantage of the natural light while admiring the panoramic views of Ottawa.
The simple decor features a subtle, refined color palette of cream, steel blue, mortar gray, beige and touches of copper, creating a calm, elegant and contemporary ambiance. The natural light streaming through the windows, combined with the softness of the carpet, makes the room feel even more relaxing.
The space is well laid out, offering a versatile corner dedicated to both work and relaxation, with a desk and comfortable reading area. The king-size bed, perfectly positioned under a beautiful headboard, takes center stage.
The entrance opens into a small foyer, providing privacy and separating a spacious closet on one side from the bathroom on the other, which contributes to the room’s open and airy layout. This thoughtful design keeps the space uncluttered and flowing smoothly. Overall, the room offers a modern and minimalist atmosphere, with careful attention to detail in the choice of materials and a relaxing vibe that’s perfect after a busy day exploring Ottawa.
Feast + Revel offers a modern and refined Canadian dining experience in a relaxed setting. During our stay, we had breakfast at the restaurant and appreciated the simple menu, perfect for a quick yet delicious meal.
The dining room decor, with its elegant forest green, mahogany brown, and marble tones, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. While the restaurant does not have a patio, the large windows let in plenty of natural light and offer views of the lively ByWard Market.

Inside, TV screens let you catch live sports events, while the outdoor terrace features volcanic stone fire pits and greenery between tables, creating a chic setting with unobstructed views through glass railings.
