As of November 12, 2025, Helijet International becomes the world’s first helicopter carrier to partner with Aeroplan, allowing its passengers to earn Aeroplan points on all eligible scheduled and charter flights.
This collaboration opens new possibilities for travellers in British Columbia, who use Helijet’s helicopter services for business or leisure travel. With this unique and distinctive carrier, Aeroplan is expanding its network of partners.
Helijet is one of North America’s largest helicopter companies. It has transported over 3 million passengers in its 39 years of existence.
Trips can be to industrial sites, isolated tourist resorts (like fishing camps), or urban heliports in Victoria, Nanaimo, or Vancouver.
Its integration with Aeroplan opens up new possibilities for travellers who use helicopters for transportation on Canada’s West Coast.
You can earn 250 Aeroplan points for each eligible Helijet flight.
Members simply need to provide their Aeroplan number when booking for points to be automatically credited to their account.
Currently, it is not possible to redeem Aeroplan points to book a trip with Helijet, but this option may become available in the future.
This is a creative type of partnership for Aeroplan, thinking outside the box to deliver more value to its members!
To earn even more Aeroplan points when booking with Helijet, our tip is to pay for your flight with a credit card linked to the Aeroplan program, such as the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privilege* Credit Card.
So, if your helicopter flight costs $1,000, you’ll earn a total of 1,750 Aeroplan points:
