Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) welcomes a second Aspire lounge.
Following the opening of an Aspire Lounge AMEX in the domestic zone last July, another Aspire Lounge has now opened in the international zone.
This new addition complements the other airport lounges at YUL and provides travellers with another option to relax before their flight. We invite you to explore the other available choices in our guide on How to Access Lounges at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport.
It’s important to note that alcoholic beverages are currently temporarily unavailable in this lounge, something to keep in mind if this is important to you.
The Aspire International Lounge at Montreal-Trudeau first captivates with its brightness and its open view of the runways, thanks to large bay windows. The flow between spaces is fluid, and the zoning is well-designed, allowing for both relaxation and quiet work.
Numerous tables are set up in the central area and along the windows, ideal for enjoying an à la carte meal or a quick snack. Also, at the heart of the lounge, the bar draws attention with its illuminated counter, offering attentive service of drinks, coffees, and cocktails.
Further back, a work area equipped with counters with electrical outlets and USB ports allows guests to remain productive before their flight. The entire space is adorned with modern materials, combining light wood, sober tones, and botanical touches that create an elegant and soothing atmosphere.

This new, second Aspire Lounge is located in the international zone of the airport, close to Gate 52, next to the Salon Banque Nationale and the Maple Leaf Lounge.
Here’s how to get there:
A boarding pass for an international flight is required. Once you pass this point, it is not possible to turn back.
This Montreal Aspire International Lounge at Montreal-Trudeau is open to all travelers with an eligible boarding pass for an international flight (outside Canada and the United States) with any airline, as well as free for Air Canada Business Class travelers.
It’s open to all, paying $60 per adult and $40 per child. But if you have access to an airport lounge network like Priority Pass, Airport Companion Visa and Mastercard Travel Pass, it can be free!
The best way for you and a guest to gain free access to the Aspire lounge at YUL is to hold one of these cards:
These cards give you unlimited access to airport lounges in the Priority Pass network (including Aspire airport lounges in Montreal’s domestic and international zones), and the American Express Worldwide Lounge Collection, including Plaza Premium lounges.
It is also possible to access this Aspire lounge with other Visa and Mastercard credit cards, thanks to the Visa Airport Companion program, as well as Mastercard Travel Pass, with the DragonPass network.
See our airport lounge access guide for more details.
For frequent flyers transiting through YUL, whether to international or domestic destinations, access to the Aspire lounge is a considerable asset for working in a quiet environment, enjoying a meal or simply relaxing between flights.
I recommend this exceptional welcome offer from American Express for its top-of-the-range cards:
