Decoration

The main area is made up of numerous armchairs and wide benches in the Air France colours. A shared work area is also available.

Free Wi-Fi and numerous USB sockets are available to all travellers. Flying Blue Ultimate customers have a more intimate area with large sofas and armchairs. Showers are also available and attention has been paid to environmentally responsible products.

Air France has disposed of the old lounge furniture. A portion was donated to charity. The rest was offered at auction to Air France-KLM employees in Montreal. All proceeds were donated to Le Chaînon Foundation.

As for the new furniture, Air France worked with Canadian companies to create it.

Restaurants

In the center of the lounge, there is a self-service buffet with a range of hot and cold, savoury and sweet dishes. Attention is paid to vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. The bar also has a selection of wines (French of course!) and champagnes.

In the autumn, this lounge will offer a “Night Service” area. This service is intended for business customers traveling between Montreal and Paris on the last evening flight.

They can enjoy the same meal in the lounge as the one served on board.

For example, a passenger who has already eaten in the lounge can then go straight to bed after take-off. If they request it, their meal tray will not be loaded on their flight to limit food waste.

Conclusion

Montreal is a priority stopover for Air France. It is the second most important stopover in its long-haul network in terms of the number of passengers carried. It was therefore important for Air France to take advantage of the moment to refresh it.
