Strategic Advisor, Social media - 100% remote

This permanent position is 100% remote, with a schedule of 35 hours per week!

The start date is as soon as possible. 

In order to increase our audience and generate engagement, you will be the Strategic Advisor, Social Media, who is responsible to plan our social media strategies. In addition, you will be the inspiring voice of Milesopedia, on our digital platforms.

You will be responsible for:

  • Plan the publication calendar in partnership with the Editor-in-chief and carrying out campaigns on our social media;
  • Moderating and answer to private messages from the Facebook page of 14,000 subscribers, the X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and the LinkedIn page of Milesopedia;
  • Manage the private Facebook group of 30,000 members;
  • Create and publish posts based on current events, partnerships and author content;
  • Develop guidelines and a coherent structure for our digital platforms to increase the number of subscribers;
  • Establish relations with other companies and content creators in order to increase the visibility of the brand;
  • Seize every opportunity on social networks to direct traffic to the Milesopedia site;
  • Attract attention by creating attractive and inspiring posts to highlight the brand;

In partnership with the Digital Campaign Manager:

  • Develop digital campaigns on social networks (sponsored posts, contests, etc.);
  • Analyze social media data using various tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Meta Business Suite, SEMRush, etc.);
  • Produce a monthly report on the performance of our social networks;
  • In partnership with other team members, take actions to increase the number of newsletter subscribers.

You are a person recognized for:

  • Having a post-secondary degree in communications, marketing or any other relevant experience;
  • Having a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management;
  • Asset: having knowledge in finance, credit cards, loyalty programs or in all areas of travel;
  • Your great mastery of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and TikTok;
  • Having good experience with creation tools;
  • Your creativity, your excellent customer service and your perfect command of French and English (mandatory).

  • Salary up to $60,000
  • 35-hour schedule per week, to work from home or anywhere in the world
  • 3 weeks of vacation + 1 week of paid vacation between Christmas and New Year’s Day
