As of July 27, 2021, Eurowings Discover (IATA Code: 4Y) is officially added toAeroplan‘s list of over 40 airline partners. Eurowings Discover is a new airline part of the Lufthansa Group. It has Frankfurt and Munich (Germany) as its operational bases.

This new Aeroplan partner serves a wide variety of international destinations in Africa, North America, the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean. Its fleet will consist of Airbus A330s and Airbus A320s.
The Frankfurt – Mombasa (Kenya) route was inaugurated on 24 July. Next month, the airline will add:
Next October, Las Vegas andMauritius will be added to the destinations. Then in the winter of 2021, there will be :
In 2022, Canadian destinations will be included in the Eurowings Discover network: Calgary and Halifax!

This new partnership will give Aeroplan members more choice and cover a larger territory.
Members will be able to earn Aeroplan points based on the distance flown on all scheduled flights operated by Eurowings Discover.
In addition, they will be able to earn on flights ticketed by Air Canada:

Members will be able to book 4Y flights online at aircanada.com, through the Air Canada mobile app, or via Aeroplan’s Contact Centre.
On an Aeroplan Flight Reward, the fee will be $39 (plus airport taxes) as with other airline partners.
Flights will be priced based on Aeroplan’s pricing for partner airlines. They can be combined with flights operated by Air Canada and other international airline partners.
Since June 2020, Eurowings Discover is the seventh airline to join the Aeroplan program. And there will be more to come, Air Canada promises!
