The Amazon promotion at the Aeroplan eStore is back for Amazon's October Prime Big Deal Days. On October 6 and 7, 2026, Aeroplan members can earn up to 10 Aeroplan points per dollar on eligible purchases at Amazon.ca, as long as they go through the Aeroplan eStore before buying. The offer ends October 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time and does not apply to past purchases. The list of 10X categories is shorter than in June.
Separately, promo code ENSEMBLE15 takes 15% off the points price of Amazon and Costco gift cards and all eStore merchandise until October 18, 2026. Redeeming points for gift cards is still well below the value of a business-class flight. The June event, held June 23 to 26, 2026, came with the “Dream Destinations, Delivered” contest (ten winners of 1,000,000 Aeroplan points each, draw on July 2, 2026): that contest is over.

Stack up to 13.25 points per dollar
The base 10X is only the starting point. By combining Elite Status and an Aeroplan credit card, you can go much higher.

To give you a real benchmark, here is what $500 in eligible purchases earns, depending on your profile. I use a conservative value of 1.5¢ per Aeroplan point, knowing I aim for 2¢ and more when I redeem them in business class.

At 13.25X, those 6,625 points are worth nearly $100 on a $500 purchase, about 20% back. Redeemed at 2¢ for a business-class flight, you climb toward $130, so more than 26% back. My tip: at the next Amazon promotion, group your eligible purchases during its few days to take advantage of the multiplier instead of spreading them across the year.
Eligible Amazon categories
Bonus points are awarded only on eligible categories, and this list changes from one event to the next. In October 2026, it is shorter than in June: jewellery, luggage and watches are back to 1 point per dollar. The categories earning 10X are:
- Clothing and accessories, and Amazon Fashion private brands;
- Shoes, handbags, wallets and sunglasses;
- Echo devices, and Echo and Alexa accessories;
- Fire TV devices and Fire tablets, with their accessories;
- Kindle e-readers and their accessories;
- eero devices and Amazon Cloud Cam.
Most other categories earn 1 point per dollar. Some earn no points at all: automotive and tires, Blu-ray, CDs, DVDs and vinyl, digital books, music and videos, collectibles, computers, tablets and components, electronic components and home audio, grocery and gourmet food, home entertainment, Kindle eBooks and Kindle Unlimited, toys and games, video games, all gift cards, and Coach products. Taxes and shipping fees do not earn points. Before buying, check the category shown directly in the Aeroplan eStore, and take a screenshot in case you need to claim missing points later.
How to earn your points
You must access the eStore before making your purchases at Amazon. Here is how:
- Log in to the Aeroplan eStore with your Aeroplan account;
- Go to the Amazon page;
- Click the “Shop & Collect” button, which redirects you to Amazon.ca;
- Pay with your TD Aeroplan co-branded card to stack the base rate.
Missing points: how to claim them
Points from an eStore purchase are not credited right away. As of September 2026, Air Canada says it can take up to 2 months for points from a partner transaction to be credited to your Aeroplan account.
If the points are still missing after that, Air Canada's official missing transactions page points eStore purchases to a separate form: the Aeroplan eStore missing points form. Keep your Amazon order confirmation and, for a purchase made during a promotion, the screenshot of the category and rate shown in the eStore. It is your best proof if the multiplier applied does not match the one advertised.
