Walmart

Walmart stores offer the rewards program Walmart, associated with its two credit cards, the Walmart Mastercard and Walmart World Mastercard.

These cards have no annual fee.

To qualify for the Walmart World Mastercard credit card, you must:

• Be a Walmart Mastercard member and have spent $15,000 or more in the last 12 months,
• or have an annual family income of $100,000 or more.

Once received, activate your card by calling 1-888-779-2977 and start to earn Walmart Rewards dollars.

You can use these cards at Walmart stores and anywhere else Mastercard is accepted.

With either cards, it is possible to accumulate on all your purchases:

• 1.25% at Walmart,
• 1% to 1.25% at all gas stations,
• 1% everywhere else.

Walmart World Mastercard gives 3% back on online purchases at Walmart.ca

Finally, a $25 bonus in Walmart Reward Dollars is awarded :

• $15 when signing up for one of the two credit cards,
• $10 for e-statement registration.

$1 Walmart Rewards equals $1 to spend at Walmart.

You use your rewards like cash when you shop at Walmart.

When you insert the card into the terminal, you will see the “Redeem Walmart Rewards Dollars” option in the left column.

You then indicate how many dollars, in $5 increments, you want to trade.

There is no Walmart Rewards status. However, the Walmart World Mastercard offers many benefits, such as a 3% return on online purchases at Walmart.ca and insurance.
