You can earn Best Western Rewards points in many ways:

Best Western Rewards points’ earning depends of:

your status
the amount spent

So, as a basic member, you can earn 10 points per dollar.

Then, depending on your status, you’ll earn more points (10% more for Gold members to 50% more for Diamond Select members).

Retroactive credit

Please note that if you are not a Best Western Rewards member and have just stayed at one Best Western hotel, you may request retroactive credit of points 30 days after the stay.

With car rentals

Most of the major car rental companies are partners with Best Western, so you can easily earn Best Western points for your car rental.

Redeem points

For free hotel nights

As with any hotel program, Best Western Rewards is designed so that points earned can be redeemed for stays at Best Western hotels.

The number of points to get a free hotel night depends on:

the property
the location
the time of year

So it’s a variable cost schedule. However, the chart has 11 tiers,so a free hotel night costs between 8,000 points and 70,000 Best Western Rewards points.

Promotions

Best Western Rewards occasionally runs promotions to allow you to redeem your points at a more favourable rate. Like this one: 10,000 points per night, regardless of the hotel (in North America).

To get airline miles

You can also transfer your Best Western Rewards points to another rewards program such as Aeroplan, AIR MILES or American AAdvantage.

Transferring Best Western Rewards points between accounts

You can transfer your points from one account to another, free of charge! You have to call Best Western Rewards Customer Service.

The only condition: Best Western Rewards accounts must be at the same address.
