Today, WestJet introduced to the media its new WestJet Elevate Lounge at Calgary International Airport (YYC). This lounge will open on November 2, 2020, and we will have the opportunity to review it very soon, in real condition!
The WestJet Elevation Lounge covers more than 9,300 square feet with panoramic views.
The WestJet Elevation Lounge is conveniently located at Concourse B of the Domestic Terminal and is accessible to guests departing from Concourses A, B and C, as well as Concourse D of the International Terminal (when accessed from security checkpoint B or C).
The WestJet Elevation lounge is open from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.

The WestJet Elevate Lounge features a dedicated family space with activities for kids to interact with and explore.
This is something that Audrey and I enjoy a lot in the airport lounges to keep our two children busy without disrupting the rest of the lounge
Who says lounge says meal!
Here’s how WestJet presents its meal offering in the WestJet Elevate Lounge:
You will be able to order food and beverages directly to the table using personal devices (as Air Canada already offers in some lounges)
Given the current situation, WestJet has designed the floor plan with reduced capacity to ensure physical distancing. The WestJet Elevate Lounge has many spaces for working and isolating yourself.
You will be able to book a meeting space for a maximum duration of 60 minutes and a maximum occupancy of 4 people. WestJet Rewards Platinum and Gold members may also reserve the space up to seven days in advance by calling their respective priority support number, available through the WestJet app.
Something very appreciated, especially for international travellers: to be able to take a shower in a lounge. This will be possible thanks to reservable showers.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, WestJet implemented enhanced health, safety and sanitization measures. For example, Contactless, self-serve entry.
Also, face masks are mandatory for customers and staff (except when eating and drinking).
Finally, there is an enhanced and continuous cleaning regimen including electrostatic spraying, plexiglass shields at high interaction areas and hand sanitizers placed in high-touch zones.
In the WestJet Elevation Lounge, you’ll find works by local artists, such as a statement graphic of Canmore’s Three Sisters mountain peaks above the bar.
Many passengers will be able to access the WestJet Elevate lounge.
WestJet Rewards members with Platinum, Gold and Silver status are eligible for complimentary lounge access based on their tier benefits.
For example, Silver members have 4 annual vouchers. Gold and Platinum members have unlimited access.
If you’re travelling in the Business cabin of our Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, you’ll also enjoy complimentary access to the WestJet Elevate Lounge.
You can also access the WestJet Elevation Lounge with a WestJet boarding pass and a flat fee:
If you are travelling with another airline, you will also be able to access it with a higher fee:
So it’ll be better with the right credit card!
Great news! The WestJet Elevation Lounge is a member of the Priority Pass and LoungeKey networks. This means you’ll be able to access it using your credit card free lounge passes.
For example, if you have the Business Platinum Card® from American Express, you have unlimited access for you and a guest. With a lower annual fee, the CIBC Aventura® Visa Infinite* Card provides 4 complimentary visits per year to Priority Pass lounges.
Finally, a great choice could also be the BMO® World Elite®* Mastercard®*, which offers 4 complimentary visits per year to LoungeKey airport lounges. Besides, this card is free for the first year!
