Air Canada and ITA Airways have just announced a codeshare agreement that will transform travel options between Canada and Italy.
This collaboration will enable Air Canada passengers to Rome-Fiumicino (FCO) to easily book connections to 10 popular destinations in Italy, Africa, Israel and Albania. At the same time, ITA Airways customers arriving in Toronto will have access to 10 strategic cities in the Canadian and U.S. network, such as Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Boston, Orlando, etc.
Tickets for multi-code flights can be purchased from today, for travel from July 21, 2025.
For passengers, this type of codeshare partnership offers more flight options, easier connections thanks to the purchase of a single ticket (even if they are two different airlines) and the possibility of accumulating points with their rewards program (Aeroplan or Volare).

Air Canada is already offering up to 39 weekly flights to Italy this summer, including non-stop flights Montreal – Naples, since last May.
