Hilton and Small Luxury Hotels launch exclusive partnership

The hotel industry is taking no time off. Shortly after Hyatt acquired the Mr and Mrs Smith agency and Marriott set up an exclusive partnership with MGM Resorts, it’s Hilton’s turn to launch a collaboration we looked forward to.

On February 8, 2024, the hotel giant announced that it would be joining forces with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), one of the world’s most prestigious hotel groups, which until 2024 was associated with World of Hyatt. This partnership has just taken off this July 9, 2024.

The recent partnership between Hilton and SLH means good news for Hilton Honors members. Now they can book over a hundred new exceptional boutique hotels through Hilton’s distribution channels.

“This partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World will give Hilton Honors members access to new high-end boutique hotels […], giving them more opportunities to dream, book, earn and redeem points with Hilton,” exclaims Chris Silcock, President of Global Brands and Commercial Services.

Hilton Honors members can now not only earn points for every stay at an SLH hotel, but also pay for their stay with points.

For example, a night at the fabulous Andalusian Nobu Hotel Marbella could be yours for as little as 110,000 Hilton Honors points.

Thanks to the partnership with SLH, Hilton’s luxury lodgings now includes 560 new hotels in 90 countries. Although already well-stocked, with brands such as Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts and LXR Hotels & Resorts, it is now even more complete.

This is because Small Luxury Hotels of the World only includes luxury boutique hotels, rarely with more than 50 rooms. No matter what address you choose, whether it’s a provencal farmhouse, a victorian château, or even a desert ranch, you’re guaranteed a stay where privacy and discretion are paramount.

In Canada, only one hotel is a member of SLH: Monsieur Jean, Hôtel Particulier, nestled in the heart of Old Quebec. In France, there are over 50. Among our favourite addresses? Domaine de Manville, nestled in Les Baux-de-Provence, and Les Sources de Caudalie, near Bordeaux.
