Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, announced today that its famous A380 will head north in the summer of 2025 to serve the Toronto – Abu Dhabi route. This giant of the skies will enhance the travel offer to Canada from June 24, 2025, coinciding with strong summer traffic and growth in the business market.
In addition to increasing capacity on this route, Etihad will introduce for the first time in Canada The Residence, the only three-room apartment that flies in the sky.
This unusual flight experience includes a lounge, a private room and bathroom, and unrivalled customer service. You’ll be able to shower at an altitude of 12,000 metres!
Passengers in The Residence can also enjoy gourmet cuisine with an à la carte menu, champagne, caviar and breakfast in bed.

This is valid for travel between June 24 and December 8, 2025.
From March 25, 2025, Etihad Airways will introduce dynamic pricing with the Aeroplan program.
As a result, Etihad Airways will have its inventory of Business Class seats available to Aeroplan program members wishing to book with their points.
However, there are no changes to First Class seats. Their availability for booking with Aeroplan points is still very limited. Members wishing to travel in this luxury class must be flexible or fortunate to find available seats.
As of today, there are no available seats on Aeroplan for the new non-stop route from Toronto to Abu Dhabi.
