Located at the foot of the ski slopes of Mont Sainte-Anne in the Quebec City area, the Delta Hotels Mont Sainte-Anne is 30 minutes from Quebec City and 3 hours from Montreal.
It is ideally located for summer and winter activities.
The reception of this Delta Hotels is very spacious and bright.
There is an impressive fireplace and several armchairs and sofas to relax in after a day of skiing, cycling or walking.
The staff is friendly and very dedicated, and you can quickly get additional magnetic cards.
It must be said that we had already checked in through the Marriott Bonvoy app and had our room number and a mobile card.
The hotel has 157 rooms and 54 suites on 6 floors.
There are 8 types of accommodations geared towards medium to long term stays as most have fully equipped kitchens: large refrigerator, dishes, stove, oven, dishwasher, some suites even have a washer and dryer.
Room 1 : 1 King bed
Room 2: 2 single beds
Our room was a 2 bedroom penthouse suite.
Thanks to the free cancellation and modification, we took advantage of the price reductions to change our reservation several times and finally extend our stay by one night from 2 to 3 nights.
Our penthouse is located on the 6th and last floor of the hotel.
What you notice on arrival is the impressive size of the suite (100 sq. m.) and its brightness.
The suite is on two levels.
On the main level is a full kitchen with a dining area featuring a table that seats 6 (8 with the extra extension and chairs in the closet).
The kitchen is fully equipped, including plenty of crockery, a stove with oven, a dishwasher and a quality Nespresso machine.
The lounge area has a sofa bed, a good size television and a fireplace.
On this landing there is also a first bedroom with two single beds,
and a bathroom, including a bath-shower.
There is a washing machine and a dryer.
Everything is accessible through sliding doors.
On the first floor, there is a king bed and a television,
and a spacious bathroom with two basins as well as a standing bath and a shower.
A screen provides some privacy, however, the upstairs shower and bath are open-plan and open directly onto the mezzanine.
Finally, there is a wardrobe.
When we arrived at our suite, we found a note from the hotel, and a “small” dessert in the refrigerator.
It’s always nice to stay in a hotel that takes care of you.
Since for this stay we had already booked the largest room in the hotel, we did not get an upgrade. However, the hotel gave us breakfast coupons for our 3 days.
In addition, we were able to take advantage of a late checkout and leave the hotel in the early afternoon.
Outdoor parking is available free of charge for hotel guests. It is accessible with the room key.
Seven self-service electric vehicle charging stations are available to the left of the main door. There are 2 for Tesla cars and 5 level 2 stations. During the registration process, we must tell the reception our intention to use them.
The hotel has a restaurant called “Le Bistro Nordik” offering a variety of dishes featuring regional products.
It is located in the extension of the reception.
The hotel also has a small cafe where you can pick up breakfast and eat it in your room or on site. It is open every day from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Café Nordik also has a convenience store.
The hotel’s pools offer a view of the mountain. There is an indoor swimming pool, open all year round, from 8:00 am to 10:30 pm.
In addition, there are two outdoor hot tubs available year-round. Access is restricted from Thursday to Sunday, as well as on public holidays.
The outdoor pool is accessible during the summer only. It is not very deep (1.3m), but it is a good size to make lengths.
It also has a small pool for young children.
The hotel has a fitness room with several machines and weights. It is open 24 hours a day.
The hotel has a room to play ping-pong, table soccer, pool and a large module.
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Mont Sainte-Anne has 21 rooms dedicated to events such as meetings and receptions.
The region is full of activity in all seasons.
In winter, of course, downhill skiing is king, but also snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.
In the summer, the mountain offers many trails for walking and mountain biking enthusiasts.
8 kilometers from the hotel is the Canyon Sainte-Anne, a site not to be missed.
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Mont Sainte-Anne was a very nice discovery, the renovations give a second breath to this hotel which has a very good geographical situation.
The staff is really welcoming and attentive to the needs of their customers. We asked them several times for advice on activities and they even offered to accompany us to the entrance of trails that only locals know about.
We had a great stay and would love to return in a few months to enjoy the winter activities.
