To the point Between January 1st and June 30th, 2022, Flying Blue will offer 50% more XP on flights marketed by Air France KLM.

Earn 50% more XP with Flying Blue and Extended Miles

Flying Blue, the Air France KLM frequent flyer program, has announced 2 special measures for its members.

First, Flying Blue offers a 50% bonus XP for all flights:

  • marketed by Air France and KLM (but may be operated by a partner airline such as Delta Airlines)
  • made between January 1, 2022 and June 30, 2022 (even if they were booked before this period)

No registration is required for this promotion.

In addition, the calculation of the additional 50% of XP will be rounded up. For example, on 5 XP flights, you would normally get 2.5 XP bonus. However, they will be rounded up to 3 XP so you will have a grand total of 8 XP.

In addition, Explorer members will have their Miles renewed according to a few criteria. All their miles that expire between December 2021 and November 2022 will remain valid until the end of December 2022.

  • With 180 XP, you go from Silver to Gold
  • With 300 XP, you go from Gold to Platinum

You have 12 months to collect enough XP to level up or keep your current status.

To get XPs, it depends on many factors such as the class of the cabin and the distance traveled.
