Register for Family Sharing

Arguably the most anticipated novelty of milesopedia’s community – and many families. Aeroplan Family Sharing.

You can register for it within your Aeroplan dashboard. First of all, you have to accept the different rules related to Aeroplan Family Sharing:

Then you can add different members. Be careful: the first name and surname must be exactly consistent with the information in the Aeroplan account of the member (in this case, Audrey is still registered with Aeroplan with her maiden name. An error was then displayed).

Note that this is where you can allow – or not – a Family Sharing member to use Aeroplan points. In this case, I leave Audrey the opportunity to use points, but I take this function away from our children.

Once the information is entered, invitations are sent to the members. They will have 45 days to accept it via their Aeroplan account.
