AIR MILES and Pharmasave begin partnership

The AIR MILES Loyalty Program today announced that Collectors will be able to earn 1 mile for every $10 in eligible purchases at Pharmasave, starting September 10, 2024.

Since Pharmasave will be an AIR MILES partner, we estimate that BMO AIR MILES credit card holders will also receive the additional 3x multiplier for every $25 spent on purchases. This is to be confirmed.

In addition, there will be in-store bonus mile offers and personalized offers to collect even more miles. Members will simply have to swipe their membership card at the cashier to obtain the precious miles.

Pending the start of the AIR MILES and Pharmasave partnership in September, members will be able to earn bonus miles with any Mastercard credit card, thanks to the Linked Offers option. This offer should appear shortly.

Founded in 1981, Pharmasave has over 870 pharmacies in Canada (but none in Quebec). This partnership was being tested in Atlantic pharmacies only, and will be extended to the whole country from next fall.

Since Quebec members are still waiting for a pharmaceutical partner, it would be interesting to know what the AIR MILES program intends to do there.

This AIR MILES announcement follows on from last April’s announcement that BMO AIR MILES credit cards can earn 2X as many miles at any eligible wholesale club (such as Costco warehouses) or liquor retailer.
