Flying Blue: New partnership with Uber

Uber Aeroplan
To the point A new partnership between Flying Blue and Uber allows you to earn Flying Blue Miles for every Uber ride.

More Flying Blue Miles with Uber

Flying Blue and Uber today announced their partnership to earn more Flying Blue Miles.

In France, you earn 1 Mile for every euro spent on Premium routes such as :

  • Uber X Priority
  • Berline
  • Comfort
  • Taxi
  • Van
  • Uber Reserve

In the Netherlands, you earn 1 Mile per euro spent on all Uber rides.

Then, from the fifth Uber journey in the same calendar month, the accumulation will be 2 Miles per euro for the rest of the month and the following 3 months.

For example: You made 4 trips with Uber between August 1 and August 15. You’ll earn 2 Miles per euro spent on all your journeys until August 31, as well as for the whole of September, October and November!

Miles will be credited a maximum of 48 hours after the trip.

To take advantage of this partnership, you must link your Flying Blue and Uber accounts.

Here is the procedure:

  • Click on this link to the partnership between Flying Blue and Uber to download the application (if you don’t already have one) or go directly to your Uber application.
  • In the Account section, then Settings, scroll down to the Rewards tab.
  • Choose Flying Blue, and click on Link account.
  • Log into your Flying Blue account.

There you go ! You can now earn miles with Uber.

Bottom Line

This partnership is open to residents of France and the Netherlands, but it also seems to be available to tourists. While in Canada, we tried to link our account but this was not available; tourists may have to wait until they arrive in these countries before they can link their accounts in the Uber app.

It’s a new way to earn Flying Blue Miles. For other options, read our article on How to earn Flying Blue Miles for all purchases.

Then discover all the partners with whom you can earn and use those priceless Miles!

To double your rewards, pay for your Uber ride with Air France KLM American Express cards (in France) or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® cards (in Canada). This way, you can earn Flying Blue Miles for a single Uber ride:

  • Thanks to a new partnership with 1 Mile per euro spent;
  • Via card payment.
