Returns of YQB-YTZ activities
Porter Airlines is returning to Quebec City after flights were suspended due to public health restrictions related to COVID-19.
Some of Porter’s flights initially resumed on Wednesday, September 8, and destinations are gradually being added.
For example, the Quebec City (YQB) route to Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport resumed service on September 13, 2021, with a Dash 8-400. Halifax (YHZ) is again served with flights to Ottawa, Montreal and Billy Bishop.
Porter - Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Please note that Porter’s reservations made before September 30 can be changed or cancelled without charge. In addition, passengers will also be able to book a flight with the full refund option for $40 plus tax.
This option allows you to receive a refund for your reservation. This includes the base fare, taxes and fees, for their booking upon advance cancellation of their flight.

Like other airlines, Porter has created a protocol called ” Healthy flights ” to prevent virus outbreaks. This emphasizes high levels of sanitation, to protect (and reassure) passengers and crew.
The Canadian federal government announced last month its intention to make vaccination mandatory for transportation. As a result, Porter implemented a COVID-19 vaccination policy for its employees.
