Shocking figures

Did you know that in Canada, 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer, and 1 in 33 women will die from it? That’s 75 diagnoses and 14 deaths per day.

Men are not spared since 1% of breast cancers diagnosed this year will affect them directly.

Cancer doesn’t have time to wait. If you notice any changes or symptoms, you must get it checked out now.

What is the role of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation?

The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, which has been active for over 25 years, is the only charitable organization in Quebec devoted entirely to the fight against breast cancer through research and innovation, education, support and advocacy for those affected and their families.

The Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life and survival rate of those affected through concrete actions. For example, the Foundation:

  • funds research that provides patients with the most advanced care and treatment; and
  • provides free financial assistance and psychosocial support services.

Thanks to its partners, notably the National Bank of Canada for the past 15 years, the Foundation has had a major impact in the fight against breast cancer by maximizing every dollar raised.

And day after day, the allies of the QBCF collaborate, help each other and are all driven by the same hope: a future without breast cancer.

How to help the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation?

Milesopedia joins forces with the National Bank to fight against breast cancer and presents an exclusive offer on the National Bank Allure Mastercard.

Why? Because this cause means a lot to us. We, too, have loved ones affected by breast cancer.

Those of us who have been through it know that the road from diagnosis to treatment to remission is long, uncertain and full of pitfalls.

Together, we can do more. And we believe that the National Bank Allure Mastercard is a credit card that allows everyone to contribute to the advancement of research into treatments, prevention, care and quality of life.

How does the Allure Card help the cause?

When you apply for the National Bank Allure Mastercard, you become an Ally for Breast Health: when you charge $10 to your Allure Mastercard, the National Bank donates 10 cents to the Foundation.

You can charge your important purchases to this card as it has purchase and extended warranty insurance. And you can even convert your reward points into a donation for the Foundation.

You can be proud to have the National Bank Allure Mastercard and use your points for a good cause. Thanks to Allure cardholders, NBC has donated over $6 million to the cause over the past 15 years.

Using the card throughout the year is a way to support the Foundation’s actions: cancer has no time to wait. Do not hesitate to share this offer and to raise awareness for breast cancer screening.

Let’s donate now.
