How to end the year well with your Reward Points

First of all, look at your account. Do you have a few more nights to complete before youreach the next Marriott Bonvoy Elite status?

If so, you can book a stay at a Marriott Bonvoy hotel. Note that a check-in on December 31 counts as an elite night for the year 2022, even if your departure date is January 1, 2023.

Each calendar year, you can transfer a maximum of 100,000 Reward Points from one account to another.

To transfer your points to another Marriott Bonvoy account, call 1-800-627-7468. The maximum date is next December 31, so that it counts for the year 2022.

The “Promotions” tab in your Marriott Bonvoy account may reveal some surprise promotions. Sign up for the ones you’re interested in, if you happen to have any lying around.

In fact, Marriott Bonvoy has made a promotion to its members. It allows members to earn extra points. The deadline was December 15, 2022.

Take the opportunity to look at your American Express promotional offers as well. You can combine your stays and spending to earn even more points or a $100 account credit.

We call it a double or even triple shot!

If you have achieved Platinum or Titanium status during the year, don’t forget to select your annual benefit.

The deadline is January 15th, 2022. However, if you don’t do this, the choice by default will be to receive “Five free upgrades in a row”.

Beginning September 6 and continuing through December 31, 2022, earn double points on all stays at Hilton hotels.

Plus, if the stay ends between Monday and Friday, get an extra 2,000 points.

Registration on the Hilton Honors website is mandatory for this promotion.

InterContinental Ambassador status can be obtained simply by:

• buying it for $200 USD
• or by redeeming 40,000 IHG points

It allows to have:

• one free weekend night
• Platinum Elite status
• guaranteed upgrades
• $ 20 credit at the restaurant, late checkout…

With a promotion through December 31, 2022, purchase this status and take advantage of this promotion (with the free weekend night trick !). Plus, earn 20,000 bonus points if you stay two nights at an InterContinental, Kimpton or Regent hotel before January 31, 2023.
