FAQ

What is the annual fee?

The regular annual fee is $150 for the primary cardholder and $50 for an additional card. A promotional reimbursement, when applicable to your application, is separate from the recurring fee. Check the terms shown during your application before relying on a rebate.

How many points can you earn?

Eligible grocery and restaurant purchases earn 5 points per dollar until total gross monthly purchases across all categories reach $2,500. Those purchases then earn 2 points per dollar. Eligible gas and electric charging, recurring bills and À la carte Travel purchases earn 2 points per dollar; other purchases earn 1 point.

How does the travel reimbursement work?

You can claim up to $150 per account per calendar year for eligible travel expenses charged to the card. Eligible costs include airport parking, baggage, seat selection, lounge access and airline upgrades. Submit the request within 60 days of purchase; unused reimbursement does not carry forward.

Which lounge access is included?

National Bank Lounge admission at Montréal-Trudeau is included for the cardholder, one guest and up to two children aged 12 or under, subject to the admission conditions. You need an eligible international departure outside Canada and the United States, your physical card and boarding pass. Since October 5, 2026, the published maximum stay in the temporary lounge is two hours for this card; DragonPass visits carry a charge.

What does paid lounge admission cost?

The issuer publishes reference prices of $63.24 including tax for an adult and $40.24 for a child aged 2–12; children under 2 enter free. Its terms provide a 25% discount for certain National Bank clients without a World Elite card. Prices can change, so confirm your eligibility and the current charge with the lounge operator.

What is the medical coverage age limit?

Out-of-province emergency medical coverage is up to $5 million per person for trips of no more than 60 days at age 54 or under, 31 days at ages 55–64, and 15 days at ages 65–75 inclusive. People aged 76 or older do not have this medical coverage. Age is measured at departure, and the certificate excludes this protection for a trip that exceeds the maximum duration.

Is this the best card for you?

That depends on your spending, redemptions and use of the benefits. Compare the $150 annual fee, 2.5% foreign-currency conversion fee and earning conditions before deciding. A credit card comparison tool can help you assess alternatives.
