What are the Tangerine contest prizes?

Three winners each receive $100,000 in cash, plus a 3-night trip for two people to Mexico City, Whistler, or London. Each prize is worth approximately $118,000.

Who can participate in the contest?

The contest is open to Tangerine clients who are legal residents of Canada aged at least 18 years at the time of registration. Anyone who opens an account during the period becomes eligible.

How do you get more entries?

You earn 1 entry per dollar deposited, 5,000 per friend referred, 10,000 per new eligible account and 15,000 for adding an eligible payroll deposit. An approved and funded mortgage adds up to 110,000 entries.

Is a purchase required to enter?

No. No purchase required. A no-deposit method is provided in the official contest rules.

When does the Tangerine contest end?

Registration takes place between July 1 and September 15, 2026. The contest ends on September 30, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time).

Is there an entry limit?

Yes. Each participant can obtain a maximum of 1,000,000 entries, and the limit is one prize per person. A mathematical skill-testing question is required to claim a prize.
