IHG Ruby Hotels Promo: 10,000 Bonus Points Every 2 Nights Until November 4

Until November 4, 2026, IHG One Rewards pays you 10,000 bonus points for every block of 2 qualifying nights at Ruby Hotels in Europe, as long as you register for the offer before your stay ends. The stay window opened on July 24, 2026, and registration on IHG's site stays open until the last day of the promotion.
Ruby, an urban hotel brand that is now part of IHG, has 24 properties in 18 European cities, from London to Rome. If you already have a European trip planned before November, we see it as one of the easiest hotel promotions to cash in: 2 nights are enough to trigger the bonus. And since you'll pay for the room in foreign currency, the Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Card spares you the foreign transaction fees.
The math is simple: you earn 10,000 points for every complete block of 2 qualifying nights, on top of your base IHG points and your usual elite bonuses. A single night earns no bonus, so plan an even number of nights where you can.
| Qualifying nights | Bonus points | Estimated value (0.7 cents CAD per point) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 night | 0 | $0 CAD |
| 2 nights | 10,000 | about $70 CAD |
| 3 nights | 10,000 | about $70 CAD |
| 4 nights | 20,000 | about $140 CAD |
| 6 nights | 30,000 | about $210 CAD |
You earn the bonus by meeting 6 conditions, and the most important one is registering for the IHG offer: nights from a stay that ended before you registered don't count.
Several types of bookings are excluded outright.
You'll find the 24 Ruby Hotels in 18 European cities across 9 countries, according to the list published by Ruby Hotels. The brand has no hotels in Canada or the United States, so the offer is aimed at Canadians travelling to Europe before November 4.
| Country | Cities |
|---|---|
| Germany | Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart |
| Austria | Vienna |
| United Kingdom | London |
| Ireland | Dublin |
| Netherlands | Amsterdam, Rotterdam |
| Switzerland | Geneva, Zurich |
| Sweden | Stockholm |
| France | Marseille |

IHG's terms refer to "participating" Ruby Hotels: before you book, check that your hotel shows up on ihg.com or in the IHG One Rewards app.
We value IHG One Rewards points at about 0.7 cents CAD each. At that rate, 10,000 IHG points are worth about $70 CAD toward reward nights, and a 4-night stay earns you a bonus worth about $140 CAD.
The minimum rate is low: US$30 per night, or the local-currency equivalent. Nearly every Ruby room costs well above that, so the price rule won't hold you back.
These points don't count toward elite status. You can use them for reward nights, merchandise and the program's other redemptions. If you're eyeing an expensive reward night instead, our article on buying IHG points shows what a point costs when IHG puts them on sale.
Once there, you'll pay for the room in euros, pounds, Swiss francs or kronor. The Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Card charges no foreign transaction fees on those purchases, where most Canadian cards add 2.5%. If you mainly want to earn travel points, the RBC Avion Visa Infinite Card is an alternative, with a 2.5% foreign transaction fee.
For IHG stays elsewhere in the world this fall, the IHG One Rewards fall promotion is also worth a look. And if you're torn between hotel chains, our hotel loyalty program comparison ranks each one by point value.
If you have a trip to Europe before November 4, 2026, register first, then group your Ruby nights in blocks of 2: each pair earns you 10,000 IHG points. Book directly with IHG and pay cash, or the bonus won't apply.
