To the point Dedicated to select travel agencies, Hyatt Privé is a program offering preferential rates and significant benefits at Hyatt hotels.

Complimentary upgrades and breakfasts at Hyatt hotels are not just reserved for Explorist and Globalist status holders in World of Hyatt, the group’s loyalty program. Hyatt Privé allows select travel agencies to offer their customers privileges such as $100 hotel credits, complimentary breakfast, upgrades and more. Here’s an overview.

Hyatt is not the only hotel chain to offer a dedicated travel agency program. Several chains have their own exclusive programs, including Accor Step, Belmond Bellini Club, Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Hilton Impresario, Mandarin Oriental Fan Club, Marriott Stars & Luminous, Rosewood Elite and Shangri-La Luxury Circle.

Hyatt Privé - Program Benefits

Hyatt Privé allows travellers booking a Hyatt hotel through an eligible travel agency to obtain the following benefits:

  • Complimentary breakfast for two for the duration of your stay
  • Hotel credit of up to 100 USD
  • Room upgrade, subject to availability at time of booking
  • Early arrival and late departure, subject to availability
  • Personalized welcome
  • Welcome gift, either a bottle of wine, a treat or something else
  • Free wifi

On occasion, the program also offers a third, fourth or fifth night free of charge at certain participating hotels. Contact your travel agency to inquire about current offers.

Hyatt Privé - Participating Hotels

Not all Hyatt Group brands take part in the Hyatt Privé program. Of the group’s twenty or so brands, only ten offer additional benefits to customers booking through an affiliated travel agency.

  • Alila
  • Andaz
  • Destination by Hyatt
  • Dreams Resorts & Spas
  • Grand Hyatt
  • Hyatt Centric
  • Hyatt Place
  • Hyatt Regency
  • Hyatt Zilara / Hyatt Ziva
  • Impression by Secrets
  • Joie de Vivre (JDV) by Hyatt
  • Miraval
  • Park Hyatt
  • Secrets Resorts & Spas
  • Thompson Hotels
  • The Unbound Collection by Hyatt
  • Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts

And even within the participating brands, not all hotels are included. In all, less than 400 establishments are part of Hyatt Privé.

Among our favorites? The Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht, nestled in the heart of a historic library, the Park Hyatt Paris – Vendôme, one of a dozen Parisian palaces, the Hôtel du Palais Biarritz, the former imperial residence of Napoleon III, and the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée. The 7Pines Resort Ibiza and 7Pines Resort Sardinia are also worth a visit for island vacations on the Old Continent.

Hyatt Privé Member Agents and Agencies

Reservations via the Hyatt Privé program cannot be made directly by individuals but through an accredited travel agency.

Contact your local travel agency to find out if it is a member of the program, as there are many such agencies all over the world, from Canada to the U.S. to France.

Hyatt Privé - Eligible Rates

Hyatt Privé rates are not always the most competitive, as they correspond to the Standard rates offered by Hyatt, excluding promotions and negotiated rates.

Reservations made through Hyatt Privé nevertheless offer significant benefits, such as hotel credit and free breakfast. These bookings are generally flexible, with no-cost cancellations up to 24 hours in advance.

How Can I Get the Best Deal at Hyatt Hotels?

Virtuoso

Other loyalty programs offer similar benefits to those offered by Hyatt Privé. The Virtuoso global network of travel agencies, for example, also offers first-class privileges at selected Hyatt hotels. However, this also requires booking through an accredited travel agency.

Fine Hotels + Resorts

The American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts program, meanwhile, offers benefits at over 2,200 establishments worldwide, including some Hyatt hotels, without having to go through a travel agency.

Membership in this program is open to American Express Platinum Card® holders in Canada and American Express Platinum Card® holders in France, and offers benefits comparable to those of Hyatt Privé, including early check-in, late check-out, upgrades based on availability, breakfast included and a minimum hotel credit of $100.

World of Hyatt

Finally, Hyatt’s loyalty program, World of Hyatt, also offers its members a wide range of privileges, depending on their status. The program has a total of four statuses:

  • Member: free membership
  • Discoverist: 10 nights at group hotels per year or 25,000 Base Points
  • Explorist: 30 nights in Group hotels per year or 50,000 Base Points
  • Globalist: 60 nights in Group hotels per year or 100,000 Base Points
