Throughout the year, Marriott Bonvoy offers promotions that allow you to earn more points.
For example, you can earn 1,500 points for a stay of 2 nights or more.
Event or meeting organizers can earn 2 points per dollar for any event held at most Marriott Bonvoy establishments.
The maximum per event is 60,000 points (105,000 points maximum for Elite Titanium members).
The brands who do not participate in this: Marriott Executive Apartments, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites, Design Hotels, Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and Vistana.

If you do not yet have Marriott Bonvoy points, but would still like to book a room, you could use the points advance.
You must have accumulated enough points 14 days before your stay. If this is not the case, your booking will be cancelled.
It is not possible to make more than 3 reservations with advance points.
For most hotels, it is possible to cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before arrival.
Your points will then be refunded.

Marriott Bonvoy is partnered with dozens of airline loyalty programs.
This means you can transfer Marriott Bonvoy points into airline miles. For most programs, the rate is the same: 3 Marriott Bonvoy points = 1 mile.
For every 60,000 points transferred in miles, Marriott Bonvoy offers a 5,000 miles bonus.
Thus: 60,000 points = 20,000 miles + 5,000 miles in bonuses = 25,000 miles
