CIBC is running an exciting promotion as part of its CIBC Aventura program. For several months, it was 50% fewer points. It is now 35% since today.

So you can redeem 35% fewer points using the Shopping with pointsfor any travel purchase.

CIBC Aventura Points Redemption Process

All you have to do is:

  • Book any travel on your credit card
  • Select the travel purchase in your credit card transactions
  • Select “Redeem with Points“.

Usually, this option is not very advantageous, since it allows you to use 16,000 points for a $100 credit (a value of 0.625 cents per point – whereas we value the Aventura point at 1.2 cents):
