CIBC is running an exciting promotion as part of its CIBC Aventura program. For several months, it was 50% less points. It is now 35% as of today.

So you can redeem 35% fewer points using the Shopping with pointsfor any travel purchase.

This offer is only valid on travel transactions made in Canadian dollars.

CIBC Aventura Points Redemption Process

All you have to do is:

Book any travel on your credit card
Select the travel purchase in your credit card transactions
Select “Redeem with Points“.

Usually, this option is not very advantageous, since it allows you to use 16,000 points for a $100 credit (a value of 0.625 cents per point – whereas we value the Aventura point at 1.2 cents):
